Spain has some of the most beautiful cities in Europe, along with some famous and charming beaches. But, like every other country in Western Europe, visiting it can be quite expensive. It is however possible to get some great deals on air fares, accommodation and food.
Where to Find Cheap Flights to Spain
When flying from other European cities, the cheapest option is usually to book a flight on one of Europe's no-frills low-cost airlines. The two major ones are Easyjet and Ryanair and they fly to a series of regional airports in the country. Visitors should however be aware that those airports tend to be further away from the main cities than the international airports used by normal airlines.
When coming from overseas, low-cost airlines are unfortunately not an option. It is however possible to get great deals on flights when booking well in advance or by traveling during the low season, from October to February. Charter flights are also sometimes available from the United States or Canada but comfort on those planes tend to be minimal.
